Sunday Brunch Style

File this under "How to dress like a Sunday School teacher"! I wasn't going for the sweet, saintly look but if the shoe fits! I kid, I kid...but I do love how this turned out. Usually I go for curls galore in the hairstyle department, but something about this outfit called for a short, classic style.

I'm wearing skirts a bit more now, though I still prefer a dress simply because it's one piece to wear. But this candy apple red flare skirt was too good to pass up when I bought it a while ago. Flare skirts are easy to find just about anywhere. That's a good thing since this exact skirt is no longer listed on Eloquii's site which is where I got it, but they still have other flare skirts available. You could stock up and get a few to have on hand to match up with your favorite top and accessories for a nice date day/night outfit.

I love a timeless, classy look that can transition from one event to another seamlessly. Though this could be worn on any given Sunday, Valentine's Day just happens to fall on a Sunday this year so you may indeed find yourself heading to brunch with your sweetheart or loved ones. I pulled this look from the vault (a.k.a my closet) to get in gear for the holiday celebrating love. There will be a lot of love going on around here on BBDF so stay tuned!
