How can you not feel good when you're wearing something yellow? For this installment of the "Colors of Love" collaboration with Bianca of Curvaceously Bee, I went this bright & bold color that represents "flirtatious love" according to seven most common types of love (it's been studied...look it up!).

This t-shirt dress from ASOS is incredibly comfortable which if you've been following for me any length of time you'll know that's my chief criteria for any of my clothing! I love me some formal wear, but I know sometimes we just need something cute and quick to wear for a date night, GNO, lunch/brunch date or whatever!

When I recently did a mini-haul from ASOS, I picked this out primarily because of the color but also because of its simplicity.  Now some might say its shapeless and unflattering. Others might say it's "forgiving" to bigger bodies. I. Just. Like. It. I had the OTK (over the knee) boots to rock with it and though I don't normally like to pair black with yellow (or 'mustard' to be exact) for fear of looking like a bumble bee, this time it worked. The dress is on sale as of this writing so get it while the gettin' is good!

Be sure to follow us via our blogs, IG & Facebook (#bellandbeecolorsoflove) as Bianca and I continue to help you rock your "Colors of Love" all month long!

Dress: ASOS Curve T-shirt Dress (wearing size 20)
Boots: Lane Bryant (get similar)
Necklace: Forever 21
Leopard Clutch: DSW
Black purse: Target
(Headwrap & other accessories: my closet)

*Styling notes: You could play with sizing depending how you want this dress to fit you. It fits just as its intended design (i.e. like a t-shirt) so keep that in mind when deciding how you'd like to wear it. I went with usual my dress size as I wanted it to be loosey goosey so I could achieve the optimal level of comfort...mission accomplished!
