Event Coverage: Stomp The Runway 2016

Wearing a lovely bright summer maxidress from Fashion To Figure
On August 20, I attended the Stomp The Runway fashion show which was held at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, PA. The show was held in support of victims/survivors of sexual abuse. This is the second S.T.R showcase following its 2012 debut which benefited survivors of domestic abuse. It's always admirable when fashion is matched with charitable organization. Despite the ever present blogger, stylist, designer or fashion lover, some still feel that fashion can be a shallow subject. But here lately, I've seen it connected to some very worthy causes.

My dress for the evening was from my go-store for all things fabulous, Fashion To Figure. I found this dress on the sale rack & knew I had to have it to wear for my final summer fashion show look (the next set of shows will be in the fall). How super fun & summery is this gorgeous dress? You might be able to find a few in a store near you, but it looks like it's sold out online. Here's a close second that's just as fun & summery...get it while you can!

S.T.R CEO & creator Rashad Corey and his team aimed to give attendees a full fledged night of entertainment, awareness, and of course, incredible fashion. There were so many designers that as usual I could only capture a few showcases. Below is a video of some of the great looks that graced the runway that evening. Enjoy!
