Signature Style

March is my blogiversary month, so this is the time when I look back at the entire year with so much gratitude about how far I've come. I essentially do two 'annual' reviews...one at year end in December and then again right around now during my anniversary month (BBDF is two years old & growing!).

I thought the title would be fitting since it really does reflect my general, go-to style...long, colorful maxidresses!  And as you can see, when I like a certain design I get it in as many colors as possible. These dresses all come from Curvaceous Boutique. I believe I bought the black one first and after that the rest was history!

I've worn them for all kinds of events and really have never gone wrong...runway shows, parties, the opera! The style is incredibly versatile and can serve you well in virtually any setting. All but one is a "Gabby" style dress; the red dress is a "Bree" style dress which is nearly identical with the exception of the neckline. Some of these were just candid shots taken as I was out on the town...only a couple of them made it into actual posts...that is, until now! :)

These dresses must be hugely popular because despite the fact that I bought some last year and in 2015, they're still available on Curvaceous Boutique's site. So take page from my "keep it classy" playbook and pick up one (or five) of these lovely ladies for yourself. You won't be disappointed!

Styling notes: As you can see, the dresses all sweep the floor on me. I'm 5'6 & some change and wearing about 3 or 4 inch heels in most of the photos. The dresses have great stretch and are true to size. They're pretty much tall girl friendly as long as you're fine with the possibility of the dress stopping at your ankles and not necessarily covering your shoes.
